It's important to inculcate the value of giving in children and I'm sure it'll stick to her. I've noticed the growing trend of having fancy birthday parties and making one grander than the next. But I wonder who it is really for? Is it for the children? I don't think so. It's more for the parents who want to show-off and prance around.
