Trying out something cool. Managed to install Wordmobi on my Nokia phone. Works like a charm. Hopefully this should empower me to blog when I am mobile. Now to see if I can actually keep blogging!

Guess this is for senior citizens. God save the ones who opt for this.
So well there’s another browser that hits the road. Yawn? Not really since this time its from Google.
I downloaded Google Chrome yesterday. Considering I have been a Firefox fan for years now, I was not going to be easily satisfied. But I was. In fact I was pleasantly surprised. The fact that Google has kept Chrome at a measly 600kb file it launches in a flash and is very fast. One of the problems I have had with Firefox (and not that I am complaining) is that multiple extensions & plugin slow down Firefox, especially the launch, and it hogs up resources if you are using many of these plugins. Infact I use ScribeFire to write these blog posts.
But Chrome was blazingly fast. The tab sctructuring is neat and the layout is pretty simple. But since the browser has become the portal for your browsing experience, hardcore Firefox fans will find the plain vanilla experience (sans the plugins & extensions) very boring.
While I enjoy the speeds Chrome brings in, most of my browsing will still be on Firefox, atleast for now. But I am going to be clued on to Chrome to see how the open source community takes this ahead.
Tags: googleAfter trying out various options, blogging on various blogging platforms I decided on setting up my own home on the Internet. And its right here.
I chose GoDaddy for the hosting service and am thoroughly impressed with WordPress for the blogging platform. In fact WordPress obviates the need to know HTML.
Also I merged both my personal & travel blogs into one blog here. After all home is where everyone comes to at the end of the day
He was conscious through all these times and it was nerve wracking to hear him recount all that he went through. But the greatest joy was to see him sit up there confidently, laughing and smiling. He is all geared up to enjoy his second life.
I really admire his guts and salute his spirit of life.
So it was great to bump into some of my 12th Std classmates on Facebook. Some of these folks I haven’t heard of ever since we passed out. That’s 18 goddam years back. Man that suddenly feels old
Would be great to meet up with the gang and head to the canteen for some bhurji pao & cutting chai.
